Major/Essential Functions
Teaching online undergraduate and/or micro-credentialing courses in Human Resource Development, Leadership, Interdisciplinary Studies, or Legal Studies for the School of Professional Studies degree program. Job assignment is dependent on the needs of the department.

Required Qualifications
Terminal Degree (PhD, JD, or equivalent) in one of the following areas:

Human Resources (HR), including a JD with relevant HR work experience
Leadership Studies
Interdisciplinary Studies
JD/terminal degree related to legal studies

OR
Master's Degree in one of the following areas:

Human Resources (HR)
Leadership Studies
Interdisciplinary Studies
Legal Studies or a related legal degree

Additional Requirements:

Candidates with a JD must have passed a bar exam.
Alternatively, candidates with a completed master's degree and 18 credit hours in the above-specified areas (as determined by the academic unit) will be considered.
Proven ability to teach effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

HR Certification: SHRM or HRCI certification
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS): Experience with Blackboard or Canvas
Teaching Experience: 2-5 years of experience teaching in higher education
